Wyatt Langford - Swipes 10th bagLangford went 1-for-2 with a double, two walks, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Astros.
ImpactLangford broke out of an 0-for-13 slump Wednesday, reaching base three times and recording his 10th theft of the season. The rookie started in centerfield and appears to be back to full strength after missing two games this past weekend with back tightness. The outfielder has had a respectable rookie season thus far, batting .242 with six home runs, 44 RBI, 39 runs scored and 10 stolen bases in 89 games played.

ImpactPitching for the third day in a row, Hader needed just 11 pitches to lock down his 24th save of the season. The 30-year-old has has been excellent over his past five appearances, notching four saves while allowing just one hit and three walks over 4.1 scoreless innings. Yusei Kikuchi - Fans eight in victoryKikuchi (5-9) picked up the win Wednesday against the Rangers, allowing two earned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out eight in 5.1 innings.
ImpactKikuchi was sharp Wednesday, tallying eight strikeouts while allowing just one extra-base hit -- a solo home run by Marcus Semien in the sixth inning. The southpaw has been excellent in his first two starts in an Astros uniform, pitching to a 3.27 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with an impressive 19 strikeouts in 11 innings. Even with the recent success, Kikuchi remains a volatile fantasy option due to his high walk rate -- the 33-year-old has issued multiple free passes in each of his past five starts, failing to pitch six innings in any of those appearances. He is currently scheduled for a road start in Tampa early next week.
AUGUST 8ROTOWIRE
José Ureña - Zero strikeouts in defeatUrena (3-7) took the loss Wednesday against the Astros, allowing two earned runs on six hits and three walks in four innings. He did not record a strikeout.
ImpactUrena was fortunate to escape with only two earned runs as he allowed multiple baserunners in each of the first three frames, stranding seven runners with the help of two double plays. The 32-year-old failed to record a strikeout Wednesday and has now registered a paltry four punchouts over his last three appearances (12.1 innings). During that span, the right-hander owns an ugly 7.30 ERA, 2.64 WHIP and 4:3 K:BB. With Max Scherzer (fatigue) out until at least August 15, Urena could make another start for the short-handed Rangers. If he does stick around in the rotation, Urena will likely face off against the Red Sox early next week.
