Jake Odorizzi - Optimistic for short IL stintOdorizzi (foot) is optimistic he will be able to return once his stint on the 10-day injured list is up, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
ImpactThe right-hander was placed on the 10-day IL on Tuesday after what he has described as a "flukey" right foot injury. After ruling out the initial concern of a Linsfranc injury, he was diagnosed with a mid-foot sprain. The earliest the 31-year-old could return is Sept. 24, which he seems confident he can do.
