Records 19th save Kennedy allowed two walks and struck out none in a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save Thursday against the Dodgers. Impact Kennedy was tasked with protecting a one-run lead, and he managed to do so by working around two free passes while also hitting a batter. He's now recorded three saves since being acquired by the Phillies at the trade deadline, though he hasn't done so in the most effective fashion. After Thursday's outing, he's made six appearances for his new club, allowing five earned runs across 5.1 frames while striking out six and walking four. Even so, he's locked into the closer role and should get plenty of save chances before the end of the campaign.
