Impact Marsee suffered a minor right oblique strain early on in camp but appears to be making progress. It's not clear when he might be ready for game action, however. Acquired last May from the Padres in the Luis Arraez trade, Marsee could begin the 2025 season either at Double-A Pensacola or Triple-A Jacksonville.

Impact Marsee is going through his rehab progression but it's not clear when he might be ready to participate in Grapefruit League games. The 23-year-old was acquired from the Padres last May in the Luis Arraez trade and is projected to begin the 2025 season at Triple-A Jacksonville.

Keeps hitting at Double-A Marsee is slashing .294/.478/.471 with one home run and two stolen bases in six games since being promoted from High-A Fort Wayne to Double-A San Antonio on Tuesday.

Impact Marsee was elevated to Double-A along with two of the Padres' other top position prospects, catcher Ethan Salas and first baseman Nathan Martorella. Despite the jump in competition, the 22-year-old outfielder has continued to excel early on at San Antonio, reaching base at least twice in all five of his starts thus far.
