Available to pitch Wednesday Solomon (elbow) is listed among the Reds' available relievers for Wednesday's Cactus League game against the Brewers, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Impact The right-hander looks like he'll be ready to make his first appearance in an official game since 2019, after the 2020 minor-league season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic before Solomon underwent Tommy John surgery later that year. Now nearly 17 months removed from having the procedure, Solomon looks like he'll be ready to go for the start of the upcoming minor-league season in early April. While splitting time between the High-A and Low-A level in 2019, Solomon made 26 starts and submitted a 3.98 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 111:61 K:BB in 115.1 innings.
