Impact Walsh had a breakout 2021 campaign when he slugged 29 home runs and made the All-Star team. The 30-year-old will compete for a reserve role with the Rangers but almost surely will report to Triple-A Round Rock to start 2024 as he looks to get his career back on track.

Impact It's the second time since early August that Walsh has been outrighted off the Angels' 40-man roster. The 30-year-old posted a lowly .494 OPS over 39 games in 2023 and simply hasn't been the same player since his breakout 2021 season.
