Headed to San Diego Tampa Bay traded Adam on Friday to San Diego in exchange for Dylan Lesko, Homer Bush and J.D. Gonzalez, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Assuming all players are medically cleared, Adam will join a Padres bullpen that holds a 4.19 ERA for the season. Adam was the number one option out of the Rays' bullpen this season, and across 47 outings he's posted a 2.49 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 50:16 K:BB across 47 innings while registering four saves and 19 holds. San Diego's bullpen should be bolstered further with the return of Wandy Peralta (thigh) from the injured list.
