Impact Assuming all players are medically cleared, Adam will join a Padres bullpen that holds a 4.19 ERA for the season. Adam was the number one option out of the Rays' bullpen this season, and across 47 outings he's posted a 2.49 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 50:16 K:BB across 47 innings while registering four saves and 19 holds. San Diego's bullpen should be bolstered further with the return of Wandy Peralta (thigh) from the injured list.
