Claimed by Baltimore Krehbiel was claimed off waivers by the Orioles from the Rays on Tuesday. Impact Krehbiel was demoted to Triple-A Durham and later DFA'd after tossing a scoreless inning in his first major-league appearance since 2018 last Saturday against the Tigers. It remains to be seen where he's assigned within the Baltimore organization, but should the club make room for him on the 28-man roster, he could receive multiple opportunities during the final 12 games of the season. Manny Barreda was DFA'd to make room for the right-hander on the 40-man roster.
