Impact Cueto's difficult night included walking in a run, multiple RBI singles and a two-run double off the bat of Matt Wallner. The righty has allowed five earned runs or more in three of his last six starts. In addition, the 36-year-old has surrendered eight hits or more in six of his last 12 outings.

Goes down to defeat Cueto (7-9) took the loss against Cleveland on Thursday, allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits and one walk while striking out three batters over six innings.
Impact Cueto had been dealing with an illness and hadn't pitched since Sept. 11, but he was able to go six innings and throw 91 pitches Thursday. While it was a positive that he appeared to be healthy, the veteran hurler received little run support and took his third straight loss, though he's tossed a quality start in two of those defeats. Despite a 7-9 record, Cueto has pitched pretty well this season, posting a 3.15 ERA and 1.22 WHIP over 145.2 innings.

Impact Cueto was unable to take the hill this past Saturday against the Tigers after experiencing bouts of dizziness while he dealt with an illness, but he looks like he'l be ready to go the next time his turn in the rotation comes up. The veteran right-hander owns a 3.43 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 6.9 K-BB% over 65.2 innings in his 10 starts since the All-Star break.

Scratched with illness Cueto was scratched from his scheduled start Saturday against the Tigers due to illness, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.
Impact Cueto's absence complicates an already difficult starting pitching situation for the White Sox. Michael Kopech hit the injured list earlier Saturday with shoulder inflammation, with Davis Martin getting called up in his place. Martin will take Cueto's scheduled Saturday start, but that leaves Kopech's scheduled turn Sunday unfilled. If Cueto's illness is a minor one, it's possible he's pushed back just one day, but it's also possible he misses an entire turn in the rotation, forcing the White Sox to call up another arm or go with a bullpen game.
