Clears waivers Humphreys cleared waivers and was outrighted to Double-A San Antonio on Monday.

Impact Humphreys was waived three times over the offseason before eventually landing with the Padres. He never cracked the team's active roster, however, and he'll now be removed from the 40-man after allowing 13 runs (11 earned) in 10.2 innings for San Antonio.

Impact Humphreys has had a very busy offseason. He began it in San Francisco but has since gone to Cleveland, back to San Francisco and now San Diego. It's quite a lot of movement for a player who has yet to pitch above High-A and is unlikely to make a significant major-league impact this season.

Impact Humphreys was claimed off waivers by Cleveland in November, but he'll now be removed from the 40-man roster after the team claimed outfielder Harold Ramirez on Wednesday. The right-hander underwent Tommy John surgery in 2017 and has pitched just two innings in the minors since then.
