Activated, optioned to Triple-A The White Sox reinstated Leasure (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list Saturday and optioned him to Triple-A Charlotte.

Impact Leasure allowed three earned runs over 4.1 innings during his rehab assignment with Charlotte, and he will now remain in the minors despite being fully recovered from his shoulder impingement. The 26-year-old carries a 6.32 ERA and 1.60 WHIP through 31.1 innings in the majors this year and most likely won't make another appearance for the White Sox over the final eight games of the year.

Starts up rehab assignment Leasure (shoulder) made his second rehab appearance for Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday, striking out one and issuing one walk and giving up no hits over a scoreless inning.

Impact Leasure began his rehab assignment last Friday and turned in a 1-2-3 inning for Charlotte that day before following up Tuesday with another strong appearance. On the shelf since July 20 with a right shoulder impingement, Leasure looks like he could be ready to return from the 15-day injured list this weekend and rejoin the bullpen. He'll be a candidate to fill a high-leverage role and could even factor into the closer picture, but save opportunities will likely be few and far between for the 33-113 White Sox down the stretch.

Throws second bullpen Leasure (shoulder) completed a bullpen session Friday and is scheduled to throw another Tuesday, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Impact Leasure has been on the shelf since July 20 with a right shoulder impingement, but has completed a pair of bullpen sessions and has a third on tap. It's unclear if the White Sox plan on sending Leasure on a minor-league rehab assignment, but the 25-year-old should be expected back in the first half of September.

Will start throwing Thursday Leasure (shoulder) will begin a throwing program Thursday, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.

Impact Leasure landed on the injured list July 20 due to a right shoulder impingement, but he has finally been given the green light to begin throwing again. The White Sox haven't specified a target date for the 25-year-old to return to their bullpen, though as a reliever, it shouldn't take too long for him to build back up.

Impact Leasure last appeared in a game Sunday when he gave up four runs on four hits and a walk over one inning against the Pirates. He'll now be forced to miss at least 15 days. In a corresponding move, left-hander Sammy Peralta was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte.

He will now be forced to miss at least 15 days, but considering the injury is to his throwing arm, he'll likely be sidelined longer. In a corresponding move, left-hander Sammy Peralta was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday.

Struggling since return to majors Leasure allowed one earned run on one hit across one inning of work to earn a hold in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Twins.

Impact Leasure still earned his ninth hold of the season despite serving up a solo homer to Matt Wallner. He has made two appearances since rejoining the big-league club Monday, though he's given up three homers and five earned runs. The White Sox may be interested in continuing to give Leasure looks in high-leverage situations to aid his development, but he's given up at least one earned run in five of his last 10 outings.

Back up with big club The White Sox recalled Leasure from Triple-A Charlotte, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.

Impact Leasure was optioned nearly a month ago following a rough stretch which saw him allowing six runs over his last 3.2 innings. He held a 2.52 ERA prior to that, albeit with a 22:14 K:BB across 25 frames. Leasure is a candidate for high-leverage innings eventually but could be eased into such situations.
