Called up to replace Adell The Angels recalled Rojas from Triple-A Salt Lake ahead of Wednesday's game against the White Sox, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports. Impact Though he was able to earn a spot on the Angels' Opening Day roster, Rojas hasn't impressed across multiple stints with the big club this season, slashing .211/.263/.406 in 137 plate appearances. With a .759 OPS for Salt Lake on the campaign, Rojas hasn't performed dramatically better in the minors, but he could be in store for semi-regular playing time nonetheless after Jo Adell (back) was placed on the injured list in a corresponding move. In addition to Adell, the Angels already have two other starting outfielders on the IL in Mike Trout (calf) and Justin Upton (back).
