Impact The outing was Feyereisen's second rehab appearance, with his first having come with the FCL Rays on Monday. The 28-year-old threw 10 of his 13 pitches for strikes in Wednesday's appearance, but the the team's official site reports he's still estimated for a late-August return at the earliest.

Impact Feyereisen hasn't pitched since July 20 because of right biceps tendinitis. He most recently tossed a live batting practice session Friday, and now he's been granted clearance to pitch in a rehab outing with Durham. The right-hander will likely need to get multiple appearances under his belt before he's activated, but he appears to have a solid chance of rejoining the Rays' bullpen by the end of August.
