Notches league-leading 18th victory Urias (18-3) earned the win over Arizona on Wednesday, completing five innings and allowing two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out five. Impact The southpaw exited after 76 pitches and five frames, which Urias stated was part of a pre-determined plan, per Michael J. Duarte of NBC LA. That kept him from logging a quality start, but Urias nonetheless managed to extended his streak of winning starts to five and add another victory to his MLB-leading total. Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports that Urias' velocity was down a bit in the outing, which may be a consequence of the 25-year-old more than doubling his previous big-league high mark for a season with 168.1 innings pitched. The Dodgers are off Thursday and Monday, which should provide Urias extra rest before his next start, which tentatively lines up to take place at Colorado next Wednesday.
