Impact Perez was scheduled to catch Tuesday but was shifted to designated hitter due to an eye issue which apparently prevented him from catching but not hitting. He remained at the designated hitter spot Wednesday but is ready to return to catching duties Thursday. He went 3-for-6 with a pair of homers during those two games as a designated hitter.

Carlos Santana - Back in action Sanatana (undisclosed) is back in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Twins, batting fifth and playing first base, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Impact Santana missed the last two games after being scratched from Tuesday's lineup. His absence may have been primarily due to Salvador's eye issue, however, which prevented him from catching but didn't prevent him from serving as the designated hitter.
