Edward Olivares - Steals base as pinch runner Olivares notched a stolen base in Saturday's 1-0 extra-inning win over the Guardians. Impact Olivares ran for Carlos Santana in the seventh inning, but the former was stranded at second. With Andrew Benintendi, Michael Taylor and Whit Merrifield healthy, Olivares is limited to a reserve role to begin 2022. He's only attempted seven stolen bases in his major-league career, and he's only successfully stolen three across 71 games, though he has a better track record in that regard in the minors. With playing time scarce, Olivares is only likely to be an option in deep AL-only formats until a more regular role opens up.
