Wily Peralta - Suffers fourth loss SundayPeralta (4-4) allowed two runs on eight hits across 4.2 innings of work to take the loss Sunday against the Royals. He walked three and struck out three.
ImpactFacing off against one of his former teams, Peralta was unable to duplicate his efforts from his last two starts, when he allowed no runs across 13 innings of work. He was sort of lucky to allow just the two runs Sunday with 11 baserunners clogging things up in his 4.2 innings on the mound. Peralta still has a solid 3.08 ERA for the season and will look to end his campaign on a high note in his next scheduled outing Friday against the White Sox.

His two hits Sunday were his first in the majors since July, and his RBI was his first since June.
