Corey Seager - Leaves with hamstring tightnessSeager left Tuesday's game against the Royals with left hamstring tightness, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports. He went 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored before exiting the cont...
ImpactSeager was replaced by Josh Smith as a pinch-runner after Seager appeared to tweak his hamstring. For now, the shortstop should be considered day-to-day but the Rangers may need the 28-year-old to undergo imaging to confirm there's no structural damage.

Leody Taveras - Moving rehab up to Triple-ATaveras (oblique) has been transferred from Double-A Frisco to Triple-A Round Rock to continue his rehab assignment.
ImpactTaveras went 1-for-10 with a stolen base in three games for Frisco and will now move up a level. While it's unclear what return date for the outfielder the Rangers might have in mind, the beginning of a road trip on Friday would make sense. Taveras is working his way back from an oblique strain which he suffered in early March.

Brock Burke - Logs second holdBurke allowed one run on one hit and struck out one over two innings to earn a hold in Monday's 11-2 win over Kansas City.
ImpactBurke allowed a seventh-inning home run to Hunter Dozier, but that time, the Rangers had given him a 10-run lead. It was all about throwing strikes and getting the easy win. This was Burke's fourth appearance, all coming in middle relief, throwing pitches in the fifth, sixth or seventh innings of games. The left-hander has allowed two runs on six hits while striking out five and walking none over 5.1 innings.

Travis Jankowski - Starts, steals againJankowski started in center field and went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Monday's 11-2 win over the Royals.
ImpactFor a second straight game, Jankowski was in the starting lineup and stole a base. He and Bubba Thompson, starting in left, have sparked a listless Texas offense the last two days. Given the struggles of Robbie Grossman, it's fair to speculate that left field may be in play for either Jankowski or Thompson when Leody Taveras (oblique) returns from a rehab assignment, expected later this week.
