Marcus Semien - Socks two-run shotSemien went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's win over the Royals.
ImpactSemien blasted his 25th homer of the season off Brad Keller in the third inning, and the slugging infielder ended a seven-game homer drought with that bomb. Semien has also hit safely in all but one of his last nine contests, hitting .314 across 35 at-bats in that span.

José Berríos - Stellar in Blue Jays debutBerrios (8-5) earned the win Sunday against the Royals after tossing six scoreless innings, allowing five hits and a walk while fanning seven.
ImpactBerrios was absolutely stellar in his Toronto debut, as he tossed 64 of his 95 pitches for strikes and only allowed one runner to reach scoring position through the first five innings. He escaped from a bases-loaded jam in the sixth before departing the contest, and he ended up posting a strong outing across the board. Berrios now has two straight scoreless outings after posting a 4.68 ERA between July 1 and July 19.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. - Resting MondayGurriel is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Cleveland.
ImpactGurriel shook off a minor elbow injury to start in all three games of the Blue Jays' series with the Royals over the weekend, going 2-for-9 with a pair of walks across those contests. The 27-year-old isn't believed to have experienced any sort of setback with the injury, so he's presumably just getting some routine maintenance Monday. Bo Bichette will serve as Toronto's designated hitter against Cleveland, paving the way for George Springer, Randal Grichuk and Teoscar Hernandez to fill out the outfield.

Santiago Espinal - Collects sixth startEspinal will start at third base and bat seventh Monday against Cleveland.
ImpactEspinal will stick in the lineup for a sixth consecutive contest after he went 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk in Sunday's 5-1 win over Kansas City. The 26-year-old is now sitting on a .312/.362/.428 slash line over 149 plate appearances on the season, and he at least appears to have worked his way into a timeshare at third base with the struggling Cavan Biggio, who owns a pedestrian .671 OPS on the season while striking out in 27 percent of his plate appearances. Espinal is worthy of a pickup in AL-only leagues where he's still available.

Corey Dickerson - Nearing team debutBlue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo said Dickerson (foot) is on track to return at some point during the team's four-game series with Cleveland that begins Monday, Shi Davidi of Spor...
ImpactToronto is expected to hold off on activating Dickerson ahead of the series opener, but the 32-year-old looks to be done with his minor-league rehab assignment, as he was seen taking batting practice in Toronto on Monday, according to Mitch Bannon of SI.com. During his four-game stint at Triple-A Buffalo last week, Dickerson went 4-for-15, and more importantly, incurred no setbacks with the left foot injury he suffered in mid-June. Though Dickerson had served as a near-everyday player for Miami prior to being traded June 29, he'll be relegated to a reserve role in Toronto while all of George Springer, Randal Grichuk, Teoscar Hernandez and Lourdes Gurriel are healthy.
