Moves to Chase Field Marte (hamstring) was moved from the team's training complex to Chase Field to take at-bats against live pitching, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Impact Weather at the complex has put a hold on Marte's at-bats, so the Diamondbacks moved him to be with the team in Phoenix where he'll get at-bats. Marte will remain in town and perhaps get at-bats in the Arizona Complex League.

Near full recovery Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said Marte (hamstring) underwent an MRI on Tuesday, which showed he is "near a full resolution."

Impact To celebrate the promising news, Marte took three live at-bats later in the day. The next step for the injured outfielder is to ramp up his running activity. "He looks very powerful," Lovullo said. "I think he's very close to making some turns on the basepaths." Marte could potentially return by the end of July.
