The 30-year-old has a 2.87 ERA and 1.04 WHIP with 222 strikeouts, good for sixth most in all of baseball. His last start of the regular season is tentatively lined up for Saturday against the Padres, although the Giants could push him back to maximize their odds in the postseason.
