Heading to Hollywood The Blue Jays traded Kiermaier to the Dodgers on Tuesday in exchange for Ryan Yarbrough, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

Impact Kiermaier confirmed last week that 2024 will be his final season in the majors, and he will now officially spend the final months of his career in a Dodgers uniform. The 34-year-old outfielder has put up just a .546 OPS through 217 plate appearances this season and likely won't see the field often with Los Angeles, but he could make an occasional start in center field to give Andy Pages a breather.

Playing in Game 2 of doubleheader Kiermaier (hip) will start in center field and bat eighth in the second game of Monday's doubleheader against Baltimore.

Impact Kiermaier was removed in the sixth inning of Sunday's game against the Rangers after bruising his left hip when he collided with the outfield wall. He sat out of the first game of Monday's doubleheader, but the injury won't limit him from playing in the nightcap. For the month of July, Kiermaier has slashed .182/.217/.364 with two home runs and six RBI across 46 plate appearances.

Impact The veteran outfielder suffered the injury during the sixth inning when he had a hard collision with the outfield wall. Kiermaier appears to have avoided a serious injury and should be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's doubleheader at Baltimore.
