Quiets the Dodgers McCullers (9-2) allowed four hits and three walks while striking out nine over 6.2 scoreless innings to earn the win over the Dodgers on Tuesday.
Impact McCullers quieted Los Angeles' bats, allowing just four singles, and the rancorous Dodger Stadium fans hellbent on voicing their displeasure at the Astros' 2017 World Series victory over the locals. He left with with a 1-0, then the bullpen picked him up while Yordan Alvarez provide the cushion with a two-run home run in the eighth inning. McCullers has won six of his last eight starts, posting a 3.17 ERA with 62 strikeouts over 48.1 innings. He's next projected to pitch Sunday against the Twins.

Eight strikeouts, win McCullers (8-2) won Tuesday's 8-6 victory against Seattle, allowing four runs on six hits and three walks with eight strikeouts in six innings.
Impact McCullers served up a Kyle Seager first-inning home run and a bases-loaded single to Jarred Kellenic in the sixth to account for all four runs surrendered and permitted a combined seven of his nine baserunners in the first and sixth innings. The start marks consecutive outings of four earned runs allowed, though the 27-year-old has now struck out at least eight in five consecutive starts after recording only three such starts in his first 12 turns.

Impact McCullers allowed just one run through five innings, but he was pulled in the sixth inning after surrendering the bases loaded without recording an out. All three of the runners he was responsible for scored and Cleveland took the lead. Although four runs allowed in five innings isn't a terrible start, it was the most runs he's allowed since April 14. The 27-year-old's ERA rose above three, but still sits at a career-best 3.04. In addition, he has a strong 10.5 K/9.

Impact McCullers fell behind early when Chicago tallied a first-inning run, but that was all the right-hander gave up. He threw 94 pitches across seven frames and finished with a season-high 10 strikeouts. McCullers has yielded three or fewer earned runs in all but one of his 15 starts this season, resulting in a solid 2.80 overall ERA. His next start is likely to come at home versus Cleveland next week.

Strong outing wasted McCullers (6-2) allowed two earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out eight across seven innings to take the loss Thursday against the Athletics.
Impact McCullers was sharp but took the loss as the Astros were shut down by Frankie Montas. Three of the seven hits McCullers surrendered did go for extra-bases, but he managed to work out of moderate trouble thanks to eight strikeouts. Most encouragingly, McCullers completed more than six innings for the first time in five starts since coming off the injured list and was also allowed to throw 107 total pitches. McCullers will head into the All-Star break with a 2.94 ERA and 89 punchouts across 79.2 frames.
