Day-to-day with oblique issue Cain is dealing with an oblique injury, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Impact The Brewers insist that Cain is available and that the issue is minor, but it also explains why he hasn't played in a few days. At this point in the season, Cain looks like the Brewers' fourth outfielder, just from a quantity of plate appearances standpoint. He should still get a few starts every week when he's feeling right, but is not a must-hold in mixed leagues.

Sitting again Tuesday Cain will sit for the third straight game Tuesday against the Cubs.

Impact Cain started the first two games of the year in center field but has since been on the bench for three straight. It's possible he's dealing with some sort of minor injury. The Brewers haven't announced any such injury, though he did deal with a quadriceps issue in March. Jackie Bradley will remain the starter in center field in his absence.
