Impact Renfroe will make $11.9 million, per Sam Blum of The Athletic. The slugging right fielder lines up for an everyday role in Anaheim after hitting .255/.315/.492 with 29 home runs in 125 games as a Brewer last season.

Jared Walsh - Feeling 100 percent Walsh said Saturday's that he feels 100 percent after recovering from September thoracic outlet surgery, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
Impact Thoracic outlet syndrome can be one of the toughest injuries for players to come back from, so it will be important to see Walsh's words backed up by his performance on the field, but it's nonetheless an encouraging sign that he's feeling fine. The surgery adds risk to Walsh's profile this season, as does the fact that he struggled to a .215/.269/.374 line last year. If he's fully recovered and can resemble the player who hit .280/.338/.531 over the previous two seasons, however, it would be a big boost to the Angels' playoff hopes.

Impact The club filed at $2 million when arbitration figures were exchanged over the winter. Rengifo gets a nice raise from his $730,000 salary in 2022 as he prepares to serve as the Angels' primary shortstop in 2023. He's coming off a .724 OPS with 17 home runs and six stolen bases in 127 games.

Davis Daniel - Placed on 60-day IL Daniel was placed on the 60-day injured list by the Angels on Thursday due to a right shoulder strain, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Impact This move clears out a 40-man roster spot for left-hander Matt Moore, whose one-year, $7.55 million free-agent agreement with the Angels is now official. Daniel posted a 4.49 ERA and 83:32 K:BB over 102.1 innings last season at Triple-A Salt Lake and obviously won't be much of a factor in the early part of the 2023 campaign.

Chris Rodríguez - Still recovering with shoulder Rodriguez (shoulder) acknowledged Thursday that he is still in recovery mode, per Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register.
Impact "We're getting there," said Rodriguez. "You know, there's still a process to this. So I'll leave that to the higher ups but right now we're feeling really good and everybody's really happy with where we're at." The 24-year-old right-hander did not pitch at any level in 2022 following November 2021 surgery to repair the capsule in his throwing shoulder, and it sounds like he will not be available at the beginning of the 2023 campaign.
