José Suarez - Sent down by Angels Suarez was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday.

Impact Suarez was called up by the Angels last week, and he tossed two-thirds of a scoreless inning against the Rangers on Wednesday. After making just one relief appearance during his stint in the majors, the southpaw will head back to Salt Lake to make room for Archie Bradley, who was reinstated from the injured list Monday.

Chad Wallach - Optioned to Triple-A Wallach was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday.

Impact The 30-year-old joined the Angels while Max Stassi and Kurt Suzuki were on the COVID-19 injured list, but Wallach will head back to the minors now that Stassi and Suzuki are back to full health. Over 10 games in the majors, Wallach hit .156 with a homer, a double, four RBI and three runs.

Max Stassi - Reinstated from injured list Stassi (illness) was reinstated from the COVID-19 injured list Monday.

Impact Stassi spent just under two weeks on the IL, and he'll rejoin the Angels after going 3-for-8 with a homer, a double, two runs, two RBI and two strikeouts over two rehab games at Single-A Inland Empire. The 31-year-old should serve as the Angels' primary catcher now that he's back to full health.

Impact Rengifo reached base safely three times Sunday, swiping his first bag of the season and hitting fifth in the Angels' lineup for the first time. He has been excellent since being recalled from Triple-A earlier this month and has a solid .313/.421/.438 batting line in 39 plate appearances. With five straight starts at the keystone, the 25-year-old appears to be Los Angeles' primary second baseman while David Fletcher (hip) is on the injured list.
