Impact Ward has had a fantastic start to the season, hitting .64/.490/.675 with six homers in 22 games. It's certainly worrisome for the Angels to see a player like that get injured, but the good news is that it appears to be a minor problem and is unrelated to the groin injury that cause him to miss the start of the season. Jack Mayfield will start in right field in his absence.

Impact Barria entered in the eighth inning with the Angels down by two runs. The right-hander breezed through the frame and retook the mound in the ninth, retiring all six batters he faced between the two innings on only 23 pitches. Juan Lagares - Signs minor-league deal with Angels Lagares signed a minor-league contract with the Angels on Sunday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
Impact Lagares appeared in 112 major-league games with the Angels last year and hit .236 with six homers, 39 runs, 38 RBI and a stolen base. He'll likely head to Triple-A Salt Lake to begin his return to the organization, but he'll be an option to provide outfield depth at some point.

Impact Wade had moved into more of a part-time role after David Fletcher was reinstated from the injured list April 29, but Fletcher stayed healthy for just over a week before moving back to the IL on Sunday with a left hip strain.
