Justin Turner - Could be out to begin weekManager Dave Roberts said Sunday after the Dodgers' 8-2 win over the Angels that Turner (groin) will be "down for a few days, and then we'll re-evaluate," Bill Plunkett of The Oran...
ImpactThe Dodgers are off Monday, but Roberts' comments would seem to hint that he isn't banking on Turner returning to the lineup for Tuesday's series opener in Philadelphia, after the third baseman exited early Sunday with left groin discomfort. Turner is still being viewed as day-to-day, so for the time being, Los Angeles is optimistic that he'll avoid the injured list.

Clayton Kershaw - Shifts to 60-day injured listKershaw (forearm) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Monday.
ImpactThe transaction may not actually have an impact on Kershaw's return timeline, as he's been out since early July and isn't expected to return until sometime in September, at which point his 60 days will have already elapsed. The move confirms that he won't be back in the first few days of the month, but that didn't seem likely anyway, as he's still managing soreness in his forearm and hasn't resumed throwing.

Danny Duffy - Shifts to 60-day ILDuffy (forearm) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
ImpactDuffy wasn't expected to return from a left flexor strain until at least September, and he won't be eligible to return until Sept. 15 following Monday's transaction. The Dodgers haven't yet announced whether the southpaw will serve as a starter or reliever once he's cleared to make his team debut, but pitching out of the bullpen would make him more likely to be ready in time to return late in the year and during the postseason.

Anthony Bemboom - Claimed by DodgersBemboom was claimed off waivers by the Dodgers on Monday.
ImpactThere's been a shuffling of third catchers in Los Angeles. Bemboom was designated for assignment by the Angels on Saturday after the team claimed Chad Wallach off waivers from the Dodgers, but he'll now occupy Wallach's previous role in the Dodgers' organization. His career .178/.241/.287 slash line indicates the Dodgers won't want to use him in anything other than an organizational depth role.

Conner Greene - Claimed by DodgersGreene was claimed off waivers by the Dodgers on Monday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
ImpactGreene was designated for assignment by Baltimore on Saturday after he allowed six runs in 3.2 innings across his first three major-league appearances. The right-hander will presumably report to Triple-A Oklahoma City to serve as organizational depth.

Packy Naughton - Allows one run in big-league debutNaughton pitched one inning against the Dodgers on Sunday, allowing one run on two hits and one walk.
ImpactThe left-handed hurler entered in the sixth inning with the Dodgers holding a 5-1 lead. Naughton yielded a single to the first batter he faced, then retired two straight hitters before giving up a run-scoring single to AJ Pollock. Naughton worked primarily as a starter throughout his time in the minors, and he wasn't particularly impressive with a 5.23 ERA and 1.58 WHIP across 51.2 innings at Triple-A this season prior to his recent call-up.
