Mike Trout - 'Feels something' in calf, eval on tapTrout has been feeling something in the calf area while running recently and will be evaluated Monday by a doctor, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
ImpactManager Joe Maddon said it's a routine doctor visit, but Trout also hasn't run the past three days after recently ramping up his running program. The skipper also indicated whatever the outfielder is feeling isn't believed to be serious, though it's an obvious concern as he appeared to be closing in on his return from the injured list. Trout was expected to begin a rehab assignment in the near future, but those expectations should be put on hold until after the results of Monday's examination are announced.
