Target Field, Minneapolis, MN
Adam Eaton - Collects first steal as AngelEaton went 1-for-4 with a run and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-2 victory over the Twins.
ImpactThe veteran outfielder has notched double-digit thefts in four of his big-league campaigns, but Sunday's swipe was only his third (in three attempts) in 2021. He still boasts above-average sprint speed, but his .292 on-base percentage this season helps explain why he hasn't run more often.

Jose Miranda - Dominating in Triple-AMiranda went 3-for-5 with a homer and two RBI against Triple-A Omaha on Sunday.
ImpactHe's now hitting a spectacular .337/.398/.653 across 24 games with the Triple-A club -- even better numbers than what he put up in Double-A. Miranda has racked up 21 homers, 60 RBI and 60 runs in 71 games across the two levels he's seen this year, and he's managed to do so while striking out just 43 times. If not for the presence (and contract) of Josh Donaldson, Miranda might be in the majors already. As it stands, he appears poised to keep terrorizing Triple-A pitching until the Twins are ready to call him up.
JULY 26, 2021ROTOWIRE
Ryan Jeffers - Reverts to No. 2 roleJeffers is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.
ImpactMitch Garver is back with the Twins after a three-game absence due to a stint on the paternity list, so Jeffers will settle back in as Minnesota's No. 2 catcher. Jeffers drew five consecutive starts to close out last week, going 4-for-17 with two doubles and an RBI in those contests.
JULY 26, 2021ROTOWIRE
Nick Gordon - Retreats to benchGordon is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.
ImpactGordon went hitless across three at-bats while filling in at second base for Jorge Polanco (back) in Sunday's loss to the Angels. With Polanco back in action for Monday's series opener with Detroit, however, Gordon will head back to the bench. Prior to Sunday, Gordon's previous two starts came in center field, but Jake Cave and Gilberto Celestino could end up forming a platoon at that position until Byron Buxton (hand) or Rob Refsnyder (hamstring) returns from the injured list.
JULY 26, 2021ROTOWIRE
Jake Cave - Making second straight startCave will start in center field and bat eighth Monday against the Tigers.
ImpactFor the second game in a row, Cave will stick in the lineup versus a right-hander (Matt Manning), after he went 1-for-4 in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Angels. Cave looks like he'll get the chance to fill a strong-side platoon role in center field until the Twins get Byron Buxton (hand) or Rob Refsnyder (hamstring) back from the injured list.
JULY 26, 2021ROTOWIRE
Jorge Polanco - Returns to lineupPolanco (back) will bat third and play second base Monday against the Tigers.
ImpactPolanco sat Sunday to rest his lower back, but he's evidently not dealing with any significant injury. He appeared off the bench in that contest and will be involved from the start in this one.
JULY 26, 2021ROTOWIRE
Trevor Larnach - Back in actionLarnach (hand) will bat sixth and play left field Monday against the Tigers.
ImpactLarnach sat Sunday due to swelling in his hand after he was struck by a pitch the night before. He's evidently avoided serious injury, however, so he'll have the chance to try to dig his way out of a slump which has seen him hit .122/.234/.122 with a 44.7 percent strikeout rate over his last 12 games.
