Sam Moll - Solid over first two appearancesMoll has fired two scoreless innings over his first two appearances with the Athletics since being called up from Triple-A Las Vegas on July 3.
ImpactThe 29-year-old has given up one hit and two walks over that span without recording any strikeouts, but Moll's second big-league stint has certainly started better than his initial one with Oakland back in 2017, when he pitched to a 10.80 ERA and 2.40 WHIP across 6.2 innings. Moll is likely to remain in low-leverage scenarios for the time being.

Justin Upton - Through two games in rehab stintUpton (back) has gone 1-for-7 with a solo home run, a walk and four strikeouts in a rehab assignment with Triple-A Salt Lake.
ImpactThe veteran homered in his first at-bat with the Triple-A club Monday but has gone 0-for-6 with four strikeouts since. Most importantly, he has not suffered any setbacks with the lower back strain that has kept him out of big-league action since June 22. Upton appears to be closing in on a return to the Angels.

Ramón Laureano - Stays hot in winLaureano went 2-for-4 with an RBI double in a win over the Angels on Tuesday.
ImpactA day after slugging a three-run home run, Laureano continued to put good wood on the ball in Oakland's shutout win. After going 0-for-9 over the first two games of the second half, Laureano has gone 4-for-11 with two doubles, a home run and four RBI across the subsequent three contests.

Brandon Marsh - Swipes first big-league bagMarsh went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in a loss to the Athletics on Tuesday.
ImpactThe rookie was one of three Angels to reach base more than once in the contest, and he notched his first stolen base as a major-leaguer following a sixth-inning walk. Marsh collected double-digit steals each year in the minors between 2017 and 2019, so he can certainly be an asset in that department for fantasy managers. Through three games with the Angels, he has gone 4-for-11.

ImpactFletcher led off the third inning with a single and subsequently stole second base, but the Angels were unable to bring him home. The infielder recently had his 26-game hit streak snapped, but since that time he has gone 3-for-8 with a double over two games.
