Nolan Schanuel - Sitting Sunday, could pinch hitSchanuel (calf) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics but expects to be available as a pinch hitter, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
ImpactThe 22-year-old exited Saturday's contest with calf tightness but believes he'll be back in the lineup Monday in Seattle. Brandon Drury is shifting to first base Sunday while Luis Guillorme receives a start at the keystone.

Brett Harris - Window for playing time closesHarris is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
ImpactHarris had started at third base in all but one of the Athletics' ensuing 14 games following his promotion from Triple-A Las Vegas on July 2, but his time as a regular in the Oakland lineup looks to be over. Abraham Toro (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day injured list and will immediately reclaim starting duties at third base in Sunday's series finale against the Angels while Harris heads to the bench. Harris saw time at the keystone with Las Vegas earlier this season, but he doesn't have a path to playing time at that position either while Zack Gelof is entrenched as the top option.

Abraham Toro - Back from IL, starting SundayToro (hamstring) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list and is starting at third base Sunday against the Angels.
ImpactToro landed on the shelf June 21 with a strained hamstring but is ready to rejoin the Athletics after going 5-for-12 with a homer during a four-game rehab assignment. The 27-year-old has a .260/.303/.386 slash line through 73 contests this year and should see regular action at third base for Oakland now that he's healthy.

Jacob Wilson - Moves to injured listThe Athletics placed Wilson on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a left hamstring strain. The transaction is retroactive to July 20.
ImpactThe 22-year-old was promoted for his MLB debut Friday and suffered the injury after singling in his first plate appearance. Although the severity of the strain is unclear since the results of Wilson's MRI have yet to be disclosed, he'll be sidelined for at least the next nine days. Abraham Toro was activated from the IL in a corresponding move, while Max Scheumann is likely to take back over as Oakland's primary shortstop.

Jo Adell - Swipes another bagAdell went 2-for-3 with a walk, a run and a stolen base in Saturday's loss to Oakland.
ImpactThough the Angels have been beat soundly in two straight games coming out of the break, Adell has been a bright spot, going 3-for-6 with a pair of thefts and a pair of walks. While he's still hitting just .197 on the campaign, the outfielder has put together a five-game hitting streak during which he's gone an even .500 (7-for-14) with a homer, six RBI and four free passes. Though his batting average has been a drain in fantasy, Adell's provided some useful production with 15 long balls and 12 thefts overall.
