Zach Neto - Rehab assignment TuesdayNeto (back) will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Salt Lake, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
ImpactNeto will need a brief rehab assignment, as he has been out since Aug. 3 with the back injury, but it's possible he will be back later this week. Once activated, he should assume the everyday shortstop duties, at which point Kyren Paris may head back to the minor leagues.

Shohei Ohtani - Reaches 20 stealsOhtani went 0-for-3 with two walks and a stolen base in Sunday's loss to Oakland.
ImpactOhtani has gone 10 games without a homer, but he's reached base at a .479 clip over that stretch thanks largely to a 27.1 percent walk rate. The slugger has taken advantage of all the walks by swiping three bags during the homerless span, pushing his season total to 20 thefts. He and Ronald Acuna are the only big-leaguers so far this season with at least 30 homers and 20 steals. Ohtani is now one of eight players in MLB history to put up multiple 40-20 campaigns.

Mason Miller - Will be activated this weekAthletics manager Mark Kotsay confirmed Monday that Miller (elbow) will be activated at some point this week, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
ImpactMiller made a rehab start with Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday, so the earliest he figures to rejoin the A's rotation would be Friday in Texas following Thursday's off day. The young right-hander threw just 37 pitches over four perfect innings Saturday, so his first start back would be relatively abbreviated. Miller has been out since early May because of a UCL sprain in his right elbow.

Ken Waldichuk - Getting ball TuesdayWaldichuk will start for the Athletics on Tuesday against the Blue Jays, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
ImpactWaldichuk had seemed to be lined up for Monday's start, but the A's will push him back a day with Luis Medina (blister) coming off the injured list to start Monday. The left-hander has collected a 5.92 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 114:64 K:BB over 114 innings for Oakland this season.

Esteury Ruiz - Taking seat MondayRuiz is Martin Gallegos of MLB.com for Monday's tilt versus the Blue Jays, Martin Gallegos reports.
ImpactRuiz's playing time has been sporadic over the last couple weeks, as he had started three of the previous four games prior to this one but before that made only one start in a six-game stretch. His stolen-base upside keeps his fantasy value afloat, but his stock has nonetheless taken a hit with the lack of consistent at-bats.

Luis Medina - Activated for Monday's startMedina (blister) was activated from the 15-day injured list Monday.
ImpactMedina will rejoin the Athletics' rotation Monday against the Blue Jays after missing the last couple weeks with a blister on his pitching hand. The young right-hander went just 3.1 innings in his lone rehab start, so he's probably not prepared to pitch terribly deep into Monday's outing.
