ImpactCody has been shut down since late April with an inflamed right shoulder, and with the injury failing to show the desired improvement over the subsequent five months, the 27-year-old has seemingly opted for a procedure as the last resort. The Rangers are hopeful that Cody will be ready to pitch in the second half of the 2022 campaign, but any setbacks along the way could push his recovery timeline into 2023.
