Brusdar Graterol - Expected back Wednesday Graterol (hamstring) will likely be activated from the 15-day injured list prior to Wednesday's game against the Cubs, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Impact Graterol has been out since Aug. 7 after suffering a Grade 3 right hamstring strain, but he's expected to be cleared for the team's final game of the series Wednesday if all goes according to plan. It wouldn't be a surprise to see the club deploy the right-hander in a few low-leverage situations upon his return, as he's logged one-third of an inning so far this season dating back to Aug. 6 against Philly.

Clayton Kershaw - Throws off mound Monday Kershaw (toe) was spotted throwing off a makeshift mound at Dodger Stadium on Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Impact Ardaya added that Kershaw was testing his ability to push off his big left toe by not wearing a shoe. It's another step in the right direction for Kershaw, who landed on the 15-day injured list Aug. 31 due to a bone spur in his left big toe. A timeline for the veteran southpaw's return remains unclear.

Teoscar Hernández - Held out again Monday Hernandez (ankle) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Impact Hernandez will miss a third straight start as he continues to recover from a left ankle contusion. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts had said previous he expected Hernandez back in action either Monday or Tuesday, so the outfielder will now be shooting for the latter date. Chris Taylor is in left field and batting ninth for Monday's series opener.

Will Smith - Three hits Sunday Smith went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Guardians.

Impact Smith posted his second three-hit effort since the All-Star break. His double Sunday was just his second extra-base hit since Aug. 21. He does have three multi-hit games over his last five starts but is slashing just .185/.282/.266 with two homers, 14 RBI, 16 runs and a 13:35 BB:K in 142 plate appearances since the All-Star break.

Shohei Ohtani - Matches career-high with 46th HR Ohtani went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Guardians.

Impact Ohtani took Tanner Bibee 450 feet to right field in the fifth that was calculated at 116.7 MPH off the bat. The home run brought him up to 46 for the year, which ties his career-high from 2021. He's also now at 101 RBI for the season, which is a new career high. Ohtani is the first player in MLB history to have 46 home runs and 46 stolen bases in the same season and he's knocking on the door of history with a 50-50 campaign. For the year, Ohtani is slashing .291/.374/.618 with 83 extra-base hits, 113 runs and a 72B145 BB:K in 639 plate appearances.

Max Muncy - Goes deep Sunday Muncy went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two walks in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Guardians.

Impact Muncy took Anthony Gose deep in the eighth to pad the Dodgers lead for his first home run since Aug. 20 and his first extra-base hit in September. He has just two hits in 15 at-bats so far this month but has kept a patient eye with a 5:5 BB:K. For the year, Muncy is slashing .231/.347/.495 with 12 homers, 36 RBI, 34 runs and a 32:64 BB:K in 222 plate appearances.

Jack Flaherty - Blanks Guardians Flaherty (12-6) got the win Sunday over the Guardians, throwing 7.1 scoreless innings while allowing four hits and striking out six.

Impact Flaherty had arguably his best start of the season. It was his first time this year reaching seven innings and also his first time not walking a batter since June 4. He's now 5-1 with a 2.61 ERA in seven starts with the Dodgers and has given up one run or less in three of his last four starts. For the year, Flaherty owns a 2.86 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 180:29 K:BB in 148 innings. He lines up for a road start against Atlanta over the weekend his next time out.
