Miguel Rojas - Could return SundayRojas (groin) may return to the lineup Sunday against Arizona, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

ImpactA groin injury has kept Rojas out of action since April 2, but he appears to be on the verge of a return. Per Ardaya, the plan is for Rojas to play Sunday and Tuesday while sitting out Monday. The veteran infielder has yet to get going this season, going 2-for-14 with a double and a run in the four games that he has played.

William Cuevas - Inks minor-league deal with DodgersThe Dodgers recently signed Cuevas to a minor-league contract, OKC Dodgers broadcaster and communications director Alex Freedman reports.

ImpactCuevas has pitched in 13 major-league games in his career, though his last appearance came in 2018 with the Red Sox. His big-league numbers aren't pretty, as he's posted posted an 8.06 ERA and 24:17 K:BB while allowing three home runs over 22.1 innings. The 32-year-old right-hander spent the previous four seasons in the KBO, tallying a 3.89 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 390:165 K:BB across 486.1 frames. Cuevas will likely serve as organization pitching depth for the Dodgers.

ImpactWhile Roberts didn't directly name Phillips the team's full-time closer, it certainly appears that the right-hander is in line for something close to that role. Phillips has earned two of Los Angeles' three saves so far, with the other being a three-inning save by Andre Jackson in a rout of Arizona. Brusdar Graterol -- among others -- could still see an occasional save chance, but for fantasy purposes, Phillips is the Dodgers reliever to roster. He's yet to give up a run while allowing only one baserunner through three innings this season.

Alex Vesia - Having rough start to seasonThrough four appearances this season, Vesia has given up four earned runs on eight hits over three innings.

ImpactVesia was one of the Dodgers' best relievers in both 2021 and 2022, posting a collective 2.19 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 133:46 K:BB over 94.1 innings. It's been a different story for the southpaw so far in 2023, as he's given up at least one run in three of his four appearances and has yet to go through an outing without giving up at least one hit. Vesia was thought to be a contender for save chances in Los Angeles' closer committee when the season opened, but he's unlikely to see any such chances until he gets things straightened out.
