Tucker Davidson - Another start on tapManager Brian Snitker said Davidson is scheduled to make his next start for Atlanta on Wednesday in Philadelphia, Gabriel Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ImpactThe 25-year-old southpaw will be making his second straight turn through the rotation and his third start of the season for Atlanta after he allowed only six baserunners while striking out five over 5.2 scoreless frames June 3 against the Nationals. If Davidson can continue to mix his fastball, slider and curveball effectively while keeping his walks in check in his subsequent outings, he could have some longevity as Atlanta's No. 5 starter with Huascar Ynoa (hand) and Mike Soroka (Achilles) unlikely to return from the 60-day injured list until well after the All-Star break.

Max Muncy - Flies out as pinch hitterMuncy (ankle) was used as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning Sunday and flied out to right field in his only at-bat.
ImpactMuncy came on to hit for Trevor Bauer with a pair of runners on base and two outs in a two-run game but couldn't produce a clutch hit. He remains day-to-day for a return to playing the field and rejoining the starting lineup after mildly spraining his right ankle Friday. The Dodgers are off Monday, so Muncy's next chance to start will come Tuesday in Pittsburgh.

Huascar Ynoa - Likely out until mid-AugustAtlanta doesn't anticipate Ynoa (hand) to return from the 60-day injured list until the second half of August, MLB.com reports.
ImpactThough Ynoa avoided surgery after fracturing his right (throwing) hand in mid-May, he'll need to wait at least six weeks to fully heal before he can even begin a throwing program. Once he's ready to throw, Ynoa will likely require an additional month to fully build up for a starting role, so he's projected to spend well beyond the minimum 60 days on the shelf. The injury interrupted what was shaping up to be an impressive season for the 23-year-old, who supplied a 3.02 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 50:11 K:BB in 44.2 innings over his first nine outings.

Travis d'Arnaud - Could be back in AugustD'Arnaud (thumb) remains without a definitive timeline to resume full baseball activities, but Atlanta has growing optimism that he may be ready to return from the 60-day injured l...
ImpactD'Arnaud continues to sport a cast on his left thumb after requiring surgery in early May to address a torn ligament, but that hasn't stopped him from getting conditioning work in. He was spotted on the field ahead of Sunday's game against the Dodgers taking part in throwing drills, though he wasn't able to catch while the cast was on his hand. Once d'Arnaud's cast is removed, Atlanta should have a better idea of when he might be ready to return to game action, but everything up to this point suggests that he's progressed quicker than expected more than a month after undergoing surgery.
