ImpactPrice followed Walker Buehler on the mound Friday and looked sharp, limiting Cleveland to a single and a walk. He was pitching on just three days' rest following his spring debut Monday, and there has been some discussion about the left-hander pitching out of the bullpen to begin the campaign. Price hasn't shown much rust despite opting out last season; he has yet to allow a run in four spring innings.

Whiffs four FridayBuehler hurled three innings in Friday's Cactus League win over Cleveland, allowing two runs on five hits and no walks while striking out four.
ImpactBuehler gave up a pair of third-inning runs, but the outing was an improvement over his previous start, when he gave up four runs across three frames against Texas. The right-hander has struggled overall this spring, posting a 6.75 ERA and .314 BAA across three starts. Nonetheless, Buehler remains one of the game's top starters and should slot in near the top of the Dodgers' rotation again this season.

Contract renewedToles' contract was renewed by the Dodgers on Thursday, the Associated Press reports.
ImpactToles has been on the restricted list since March 2019 and hasn't worked out with the Dodgers since leaving extended spring training in May of the same year. He was arrested in Florida last June on a misdemeanor trespassing charge and is reportedly getting help for the mental health issues that led to the arrest. There's little chance that Toles will play at all in 2021, and his overall baseball future is unquestionably murky, so the Dodgers' decision to renew his contract is likely a move to support the outfielder and ensure that he continues to receive health insurance to cover the help he needs.
