Max Muncy - Could go on paternity listMuncy could miss time during the Dodgers' upcoming seven-game week with his wife expecting to give birth to the couple's child within the next few days, Juan Toribio of MLB.com rep...
ImpactManager Dave Roberts wouldn't say for certain whether Muncy will be placed on the paternity list, as his decision to leave the team could hinge on when his wife goes into labor. Regardless, the Dodgers are preparing for Muncy's potential absence by including Triple-A Oklahoma City outfielder Zach Reks on their taxi squad in the event the team needs a replacement for Muncy on the active roster. Muncy went 0-for-5 with a strikeout in Sunday's 6-5 loss to the Rockies, dropping his season-long slash line to .273/.412/.568.

Josiah Gray - Could start Tuesday for big clubDodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Gray is "in the mix" to receive a call-up from Triple-A Oklahoma City to start Tuesday's game against the Giants, Fabian Ardaya of The...
ImpactRoberts indicated that the Dodgers' plans for Tuesday's contest will likely hinge on what sort of innings totals the team receives from starters David Price and Tony Gonsolin on Sunday and Monday, respectively. If the Dodgers' relief arms aren't too taxed following Monday's series opener with San Francisco, the team could opt for a bullpen day Tuesday. In addition to potentially tabbing Gray for the spot start, Roberts said one of the team's other top prospects, Ryan Pepiot, is also being considered for a promotion from Double-A Tulsa. Gray, 23, has made four starts at Triple-A this season, compiling a 2.87 ERA, 0.66 WHIP and 22:2 K:BB in 15.2 innings.

Charlie Blackmon - Walks it off in extrasBlackmon went 2-for-5 with a home run and a stolen base Sunday against the Dodgers.
ImpactBlackmon broke a 5-5 tie in the 10th inning when he took Los Angeles reliever Phil Bickford deep to right field. Blackmon also singled and stole his first base of the season earlier in the game. The 35-year-old isn't producing the same power production fantasy managers had become accustomed to in the past -- Sunday's homer was just his fifth of the year -- but his .362 on-base percentage makes him plenty useful in OBP formats, and he's tied for second on the Rockies with 43 RBI.

Phil Bickford - Blows save chance SundayBickford (0-1) allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit in two-thirds of an inning Sunday, blowing the save in extra innings against the Rockies.
ImpactBickford came on to protect a 5-4 lead in the 10th inning but gave up a Trevor Story sacrifice fly that tied the game before yielding a walk-off homer to Charlie Blackmon. Bickford was handed the extra-innings save opportunity after closer Kanley Jansen was unable to nail down the lead in the ninth. The 26-year-old Bickford owns a 3.04 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in 25 relief outings this season, with all but one of those appearances coming after he was acquired from the Brewers.

Justin Turner - Cranks 16th homerTurner went 2-for-5 with a home run and a double in Sunday's loss to Colorado.
ImpactTurner got the Dodgers on the board in the third inning when he took Colorado starter Jon Gray deep to right for a two-run blast. It was the 16th longball of the year for Turner, who also doubled. The 36-year-old is enjoying another prolific offensive season, slashing .304/.390/.505 with 54 runs driven in. He's hitting a team-leading .384 over the last 30 days.
