Julio Urías - Likely to start Opening DayUrias is likely to be the Opening Day starter for the Dodgers, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ImpactIt's not a big surprise, as Urias was the best pitcher on the Dodgers in 2022 with a 17-7 record, 2.16 ERA and 0.96 WHIP over 175 innings. The left-hander will start Friday's Cactus League game after returning from the World Baseball Classic while pitching for Team Mexico, which lines him up to pitch on normal rest Thursday against the Diamondbacks. Even without elite strikeout totals, Urias is deserving of a high draft pick in all formats.

Josh Rogers - Shifted to minors campThe Rockies reassigned Rogers to minor-league camp Tuesday.
ImpactRogers struggled last season in the majors with Washington to the tune of a 5.13 ERA and 1.33 WHIP across 26.1 innings. Triple-A wasn't exactly kind to him either, as his stats ballooned to a 6.03 ERA and 1.49 WHIP through 59.2 frames. The 28-year-old lefty will likely return to Triple-A for the start of 2023 and serve as organizational bullpen depth.

Nick Mears - Optioned to Triple-AMears was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque by the Rockies on Tuesday.
ImpactMears was claimed off waivers by the Rockies from the Rangers in January. The right-hander turned in a 1.27 ERA in seven innings during Cactus League play with 11 strikeouts, but he also walked six while allowing four hits in those contests. Mears will likely be an up-and-down option for the Colorado bullpen through the 2023 season.

Adam Kolarek - Reassigned to minor-league campKolarek was reassigned Tuesday to the minor-league side of Dodgers camp, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
ImpactKolarek inked a minor-league contract with Los Angeles this winter after posting a 4.58 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 9:8 K:BB in 17.2 major-league innings last season with the Athletics. The 34-year-old will begin the 2023 campaign at Triple-A Oklahoma City.
