ImpactThe Mets are reportedly open to the idea, though they've yet to fully decide on their plans. Lindor has been out for nearly a month with a right oblique strain, so skipping a rehab assignment would be somewhat unusual, but he's seemingly willing to take the risk with the Mets locked into a very tight playoff race.

ImpactAlmora has shown very little in limited action this season, hitting .128/.163/.191 across 49 plate appearances. He's now hit just .219/.259/.346 over the last three years and looks like little more than organizational depth.

ImpactReed made his major-league debut for the Dodgers in July, allowing three runs (two earned) in 5.1 innings of relief. He'll now get the chance to make his first appearance for his new team after being claimed off waivers in early August, as he spent two days in the Mets' bullpen earlier in the month but didn't enter a game.

Geoff Hartlieb - Recalled by MetsHartlieb was recalled by the Mets on Saturday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.
ImpactHarlieb was up as the extra man for Wednesday's doubleheader but did not get into either game. He was sent back to Triple-A Syracuse following the game but is back with the team just three days later and will try to improve on his 10.29 ERA and 2.29 WHIP, numbers he's recorded in seven innings of relief.
