Austin Slater - Hits leadoff blastSlater went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Dodgers.
ImpactSlater opened the bottom of the first inning with a homer on the fourth pitch he saw from Julio Urias. That was ultimately all the offense the Giants needed for the win. Through six games since he returned from a wrist injury, Slater is 4-for-16 (.250) with a homer, a triple, two RBI and two runs scored. That's right in line with his season production -- he's slashing .250/.371/.425 with three homers, two triples, a double, 13 RBI, 14 runs scored and two stolen bases in 97 plate appearances. He should be in the lineup versus most left-handed pitchers.

Mike Yastrzemski - Homer, double in winYastrzemski went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Dodgers.
ImpactEntering Sunday, Yastrzemski was 0-for-10 with five strikeouts across his last three games. It didn't take long for him to snap the slump, as he homered in the first inning for what was the final run of the contest. He also snapped a seven-game RBI drought Sunday. For the season, he's posted a .275/.377/.467 slash line with six home runs, 22 RBI, 30 runs scored and 14 doubles while going 0-for-1 in stolen base attempts through 50 games.

Jake McGee - Perfect inning for saveMcGee pitched a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Dodgers.
ImpactMcGee hadn't logged a save or a hold since April 20, picking up two blown saves and a win in that span. He struggled before going on the injured list with lower-back tightness, but he's pitched six scoreless innings since his return May 31. The 35-year-old still has a 6.06 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 9:5 K:BB in 16.1 innings overall, but he's trending in the right direction after picking up his third save of the season. He got the save chance Sunday since Camilo Doval had pitched three of the four previous days, but McGee should still be considered a high-leverage option.

Carlos Rodón - Returns to dominance SundayRodon (5-4) allowed two hits and three walks while striking out eight over six scoreless innings to earn the win Sunday over the Dodgers.
ImpactThis was the second time Rodon's kept runs off the board in his 12 starts this season, and he hadn't recorded eight or more strikeouts since May 9. The 29-year-old threw 64 of his 98 pitches for strikes and efficiently limited the Dodgers' chances to generate offense. Rodon has a 3.18 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 83:25 K:BB through 65 innings in 12 starts. He'll look to build off of this start next weekend in Pittsburgh.
