Ben Casparius - Call-up pendingThe Dodgers will select Casparius' contract ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
ImpactCasparius has started in all 18 of his appearances so far this season (13 at Triple-A, five at Double-A), but he'll join the big-league roster Sunday to provide some length out of the bullpen. The 25-year-old has yet to make his MLB debut and logged a 3.54 ERA with a 61:29 K:BB across 56 innings with Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Freddie Freeman - X-rays negative, DTDX-rays on Freeman's right middle finger came back negative Saturday, and he's considered day-to-day, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
ImpactFreeman's finger swelled up after being jammed in the sixth inning, resulting in his removal. The negative X-rays are confirmation Freeman's not dealing with anything serious and could even be in the lineup Sunday if the swelling subsides. However, he won't have much time to recover with first pitch scheduled for 2:15 ET on Sunday.

Freddie Freeman - Exits with jammed fingerThe Dodgers removed Freeman from Saturday's game against the Cardinals due to a jammed finger, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ImpactFreeman jammed his finger fielding a ground ball earlier in the game and was ultimately removed due to the issue. Freeman went 1-for-3 with an RBI single prior to leaving. While a jammed finger usually isn't a big deal, we should have more information on Freeman's status postgame.

Connor Brogdon - Resuming rehab assignmentBrogdon (foot) began a rehab assignment with Low-A Rancho Cucamonga on Saturday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
ImpactBrogdon was placed on the injured list back in April due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot. He appeared in a pair of minor-league rehab appearances in early May before being shut down. There haven't been any updates regarding Brogdon's health -- or even a reason for the pause -- since then, though he's well enough to pitch in games again. Given the lengthy layoff, Brogdon will likely require a long rehab assignment and should be multiple weeks away from returning.
