Shipped to Cincinnati Cessa and Justin Wilson were acquired by the Reds from the Yankees on Tuesday in exchange for a player to be named later.
Impact Cessa last pitched for the Yankees on July 22 and picked up a hold with a scoreless frame, and he'll now be heading to a new team. The right-hander has a 2.82 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 31:17 K:BB over 38.1 innings, and he could step into a higher-leverage role given Cincinnati's immense bullpen struggles this season
