Recalled by Philadelphia Llovera was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday.

Impact The right-hander was sent to Triple-A over the weekend but will make a quick return to the Phillies with relievers JD Hammer (undisclosed) and Bailey Falter (undisclosed) placed on the COVID-19 injured list. Llovera pitched a scoreless frame in his lone appearance of the season and should fill a low-leverage role out of the bullpen.

Optioned to Triple-A The Phillies optioned Llovera to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday.

Impact The righty pitched Friday in his only big-league appearance thus far in 2021, recording one strikeout in a scoreless inning while allowing a hit and hitting a batter. He's optioned to clear a roster spot for Connor Brogdon (COVID-19) to be activated Saturday.

Recalled Sunday Llovera was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley prior to Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Impact Llovera gets his first call to the big leagues this season after four Phillies were placed on the COVID-19 injured list Sunday. Llovera's lone major-league outing did not go well last season, as the right-hander allowed four runs on five hits and one walk in just one inning of work. Llovera, who has posted a 5.40 ERA and 1.60 WHIP across 25 innings at Lehigh Valley this season, should be available out of the Philadelphia bullpen Sunday.

Sent to minor-league camp Llovera was reassigned to minor-league camp Saturday, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Impact Llovera had visa issues to begin spring training and didn't appear in any Grapefruit League games. He appears to be set to begin the regular season in the minors but could provide bullpen help in the majors at some point in 2021.
