Sharp in 10th win Fried (10-10) picked up the win Saturday, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and a walk over six innings in a 6-2 victory over the Marlins. He struck out six. Impact The lefty delivered his second straight quality start and fourth in his last five outings on 100 pitches (69 strikes), but Fried left the mound with the score tied 2-2 before Atlanta's offense erupted in the top of the seventh to get him the win. Over his last eight trips to the mound, Fried has posted a 3.10 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 47:13 K:BB through 49.1 innings. With Atlanta trying to catch the Mets for the final wild-card spot in the NL, his final outing of the regular season could be a big one -- it comes at home next weekend against the Royals.
