Elias Díaz - Not in Thursday's lineupDiaz isn't starting Thursday against Atlanta, Danielle Allentuck of The Denver Gazette reports.
ImpactDiaz went 3-for-15 with two RBI, a walk and four strikeouts over his last five games, but he'll be out of the lineup for the fourth time in the last six games. Brian Serven will start behind the dish and bat ninth.

Jesús Sánchez - On bench ThursdaySanchez isn't starting Thursday's game against the Giants, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
ImpactSanchez has a .263 OPS against left-handed pitchers this year, and he'll retreat to the bench with southpaw Alex Wood on the mound for the Giants on Thursday. Bryan De La Cruz is starting in center field and batting seventh.

Garrett Cooper - Not in Thursday's lineupCooper isn't starting Thursday against the Giants due to an intercostal injury, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
ImpactCooper is banged up following Wednesday's doubleheader against Colorado, but the team is hopeful that he'll be available off the bench in Thursday's series opener against the Giants. Jorge Soler will serve as the designated hitter while Luke Williams starts in left field.

Ezequiel Tovar - Wrecking Double-A competitionTovar is hitting .320/.403/.587 with 10 homers, 16 steals and a 20:41 BB:K through 43 games for Double-A Hartford.
ImpactThe 20-year-old endured a rough 2021, but the Rockies started him off in Double-A this year anyhow, and he's been an absolute wrecking ball. He's only been caught stealing once all year, and he's presently in the midst of a 12-game hitting streak during which he's hit .400 with a 1.234 OPS. It's hard to find any flaws in Tovar's game -- he's already considered a big-league-ready shortstop defensively, and now that he's hitting like this despite being one of the youngest players in Double-A, his prospect star is rising quickly.

Joey Wendle - Receives injectionWendle (hamstring) received a PRP injection Thursday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
ImpactWendle landed on the injured list with a right hamstring strain Wednesday, but the team is hopeful that his injection will aid in his recovery process. A timetable for his return hasn't yet been revealed, but Jon Berti and Willians Astudillo should see additional playing time while Wendle and Brian Anderson (back) are sidelined.

Sixto Sánchez - Advances to dry mound workSanchez (shoulder) was cleared to begin "dry mound" work this week, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
ImpactDe Nicola notes that Sanchez will be throwing at around 75 miles per hour, so he's not yet arrived at the point in his rehab program from shoulder surgery where he's throwing normal bullpen sessions. That said, the activity marks another step forward for Sanchez, who had previously been limited to throwing off flat ground. Sanchez is without a definitive timeline to make his season debut, but he looks to be multiple weeks away from pitching in minor-league games, at the very least.

Jordan Holloway - Slated to throw 30 pitches FridayHolloway (undisclosed) will throw a 30-pitch bullpen session Friday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
ImpactHolloway has spent over a month on the injured list at Triple-A Jacksonville, but he resumed mound work last week. It's not yet clear when the right-hander will be able to face hitters, but that would be a likely next step in his progression as long as he feels good following Friday's throwing session.
