Johnny Cueto - Moved to 60-day ILCueto (biceps) was transferred Tuesday from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
ImpactThis is mostly just a procedural move to clear out a 40-man roster spot for outfielder Jonathan Davis, who has been selected to the Marlins on Tuesday. Cueto is making progress in his recovery from a right biceps injury, but there is no set timetable for his return. He's eligible for activation in early June.

Peyton Burdick - Sent to JacksonvilleThe Marlins optioned Burdick to Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
ImpactBurdick struggled heavily in the majors after being called up from Triple-A, slashing .182/.270/.333 with 18 strikeouts through 37 plate appearances. He'll return to the minors -- where his OPS jumps to 1.017 on the year -- in hopes of finding his swing again. The newly-acquired Jonathan Davis was selected to Miami's major-league roster in a corresponding move.

ImpactA day after being traded from Detroit to Miami in exchange for Brady Allen, Davis will return to the majors for the first time in 2023.
