Jacob Stallings - Scratched from lineup
Stallings was scratched from the lineup Saturday against the Mets with back tightness, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Impact
Stallings will miss the game with Nick Fortes taking over behind the plate. For now the backstop should be considered day-to-day, but there's a chance he misses Sunday's contest against the Mets as well.

Francisco Álvarez - Season debut coming Sunday
Manager Buck Showalter said Alvarez, who isn't in the lineup Saturday versus the Marlins, will start Sunday's series finale, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.
Impact
Alvarez was promoted from Triple-A Syracuse on Friday but has been limited to bench duties in his first two games with the big club. The 21-year-old is poised to see significant playing time between catcher and designated hitter with Omar Narvaez (calf) set to be sidelined for the next two-plus months. Tomas Nido is working behind the plate again Saturday.

Daniel Vogelbach - Sitting versus lefty
Vogelbach is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Marlins.
Impact
Vogelbach is 3-for-13 with a double, an RBI and four walks to begin the season, and he'll head to the bench Saturday with lefty Trevor Rogers pitching for Miami. Pete Alonso will serve as the designated hitter while Mark Canha comes in to play first base.

Francisco Álvarez - Not starting Saturday
Alvarez is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Marlins.
Impact
The 21-year-old was officially called up by the Mets on Friday but hasn't received a start in the first two games with the big club. Alvarez could work behind the plate Sunday with Tomas Nido working back-to-back days, and it should only be a matter of time before the top prospect is seeing regular action between catcher and designated hitter.
