Participating in drills SaturdayCarrasco (elbow) is doing some solo running drills Saturday, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.
ImpactCarrasco continues to be brought along slowly due to elbow soreness. Assuming he feels good after his running drills Saturday, the right-hander is scheduled to play catch Sunday and could progress to bullpens and live batting practice after that. It's not yet clear whether Carrasco's injury will impact his availability for Opening Day.

Back in campCampbell returned to camp Saturday after missing time to deal with a personal issue, Craig Mish of SportsGrid.com reports.
ImpactIt's not clear exactly where Campbell stands in his preseason preparation. He wouldn't necessarily be favored to break camp in the big-league bullpen under ordinary circumstances, as he's yet to pitch above Double-A, but the Marlins would have to offer his services back to the Rays if he were to fail to win a job, as he was a Rule 5 selection back in December.

Still in fifth starter mixLucchesi made his first appearance of the spring Friday and tossed two scoreless innings against the Marlins, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
ImpactThe left-hander looked a little jittery by beginning the outing with a walk, a throwing error and a wild pitch, but he settled down and retired the next six batters. Lucchesi was pitching the eighth and ninth innings, however, long after any Miami regulars had left the game, and while he remains part of the battle for the No. 5 starter spot in the Mets rotation, he has a lot of work to do to catch up to David Peterson. Whether Lucchesi can avoid beginning the season in long relief could come down to the health of Carlos Carrasco's elbow.

Could see regular starts at 3BGuillorme got the start at third base Friday with Marcus Stroman on the mound and made two impressive defensive plays, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
ImpactOne of the solutions Mets manager Luis Rojas employed last season to try and solve the team's defensive woes was putting Guillorme at the hot corner instead of J.D. Davis when a groundball pitcher was on the mound. Stroman's career 58.6 percent groundball rate is the highest among active big-league pitchers with at least 500 innings, giving Rojas even more incentive to prioritize infield defense when his turn in the rotation comes around. Davis is still expected to top the depth chart at third base, but if Guillorme -- who slashed a surprising .333/.426/.439 last year, albeit in only 68 plate appearances -- is the regular starter for Stroman's outings, he could have some fantasy appeal in deep NL-only and daily formats.
